Consultatiebureau Maastricht: The Consultatiebureau is responsible for vaccinations and regular check-ups for children aged 0-4. The page is unfortunately only in Dutch, but on this page there is a list of consultatiebureaus around Maastricht. Once you've worked out which one is the closest to you, call them to make an appointment.
Day care centres and pre-schools in Maastricht: Day care centres (Dutch: kinderopvang) care for children aged 3 months - 4 years, while parents are at work. Day care is available by the hour, by the half day or by the whole day (depending on the day care organisation). Pre-school (Dutch: peuterspeelzaal) provides the opportunity for children aged 2-4 to socialise and learn, usually for 3 hours per day.
